Graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1989 with a B.S. degree in international business management . His initial training was with Bechtel Corp. in San Francisco. Upon returning to Saudi Arabia he joined Xerox as a government marketing executive. He then joined Oryx Capital International, an international investment company specializing in real estate and industrial investments, as  a  marketing executive and a designated member of the board of directors. Currently he is the Vice Chairman and managing director of the S.Y. AMIN group and all of its subsidiaries.
