The speed at which the page downloads at the clients end relies largely on the hardware and software of the servers. Our servers have the best hardware and software to provide you excellent service. Your site will be hosted on one of our continuously monitored, high performance UNIX servers. Each server comes with Linux OS and Award-Winning Apache installed.

Hot Swap Fujitsu Drives

The drives and drive bays of our servers are all constructed from high-grade aluminum, and rest in a Shock Mounted Drive Cage, which adds to the durability of the hardware. The drives are hot swappable, which means that if any part of the server were to fail we could simply insert your drive into an identical standby machine.

Redundant Hot Swap Power Supplies

Each server has dual redundant hot swap power supplies. If one of these power supplies were to fail, the server would not go down because each power supply is capable of running the server by itself, indefinitely.

Force-Filtered Cooling

All the drives, motherboards, and power supplies of our computers are in cases with a positive pressure filtered air environment. Two large fans pull air into the protective case through filters, and fans, which circulate this purified air, cool the components within.

Redundant Uninterruptible Power System

To guard against local power failures, we have two separate industrial strength Liberate UPS systems. These act as back-up batteries, maintaining uninterrupted power in case of surges or power outages.

Connection Details

The speed at which pages are downloaded also depends on the connection provided to the server.
We have a bandwidth-on-demand connection from a Company whose Network Operations Center in Baltimore, Maryland is "OnNet" with Frontier Global Center (FGC), which means that they have a direct fiber optic connection between their Cisco 7200 router and FGC's. Being OnNet with a Tier-1 provider means that we don't link to a backbone, we are actually on a backbone. This fiber optic line can handle the bandwidth of a T3 or an OC3, and with FGC's Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, it can handle several times the bandwidth of an OC3.

Revamp your Site

If you are not satisfied with your existing web site or you want to give it a better look and feel, we can redo your entire site at a fair price. If you are not satisfied with the download speed of your web site, we can host your site on our server, or we can optimize the graphics of your site so that it loads faster.
